I haven't actually tell yet everything what I am doing in here so here it goes:
- answering to phone and calling to clients
- making offers, confirm them and sending invoices and vouchers
- County project (when I have no offers to do)
- translate description to offers
- open post and validate them (invoices and statements)
Phone
I made my first phone calls about a week ago. First there was my college next to me, but then I started to them myself. I still feel a little bit shy with phone, because sometimes it is a bit hard to understand Irish accent. Nevermind I had done one phonecall myself, I mean without help and for others I needed help. I had asked hotel rates in phone and if there is allergy room.
Offers
As I told before, making offer and the process with client takes so much time, but now I am starting to feel more self-confidence with work. I can actually do offer myself and no need help for it so much. I printed showpieces to paper next to me and it is so easy to watch them when I need to. I also note hotel codes to the paper. Working with TourPlan became always easier and easier. I had also work with Finnish client too and it actually feels a little bit weird, because I already get used to it that I am writing and speaking english every day.
County Project
This is project what I do, when I have nothing else to do. I am making a big information package about County Cork. I introduce places where to visit, what to do there, where to eat or where to go shopping. It is very educative and when I back to Finland I will be an expert of Ireland - almost! ;)
Post
I am opening post and then I have to watch if it is invoice or statement. If it is invoice, then I have to check that the bill is correct! :)
